county, low 10 county and frederick county and this is setting up like a typical situation for us why where i-95 is the all-important line. south and east of that, you're talking about mainly rain and little, if any, accumulation and from d.c. to the north and west and that is where we think most of the accumulation is going to be. you can see the city's involved in the winter weather advisory. front royal, winchester, frederick, hagerstown, leesburg and rockville. it doesn't look like this is going to be a big storm at all for us, moving long quickly. the way we see it now, most of the snow will arrive for everyone before sunrise and basically coming in overnight tonight. for the d.c. area here, we're talking about snow and we'll see snow for most of the day tomorrow. the highest accumulations will be north and west which, is very typical around here and all of the precipitation, whether it's rain or snow, will be tapering off late in the day. coming up with the full forecast, will, we're talking about where we think the greatest accumulations will be and who sees an inch of wet snow

the area. partly sunny friday for us. much less windy than yesterday. high temperatures in the low 40s. here is our next little storm. that will slide up through the tennessee valley and into the washington area by early tomorrow morning. a couple of features with it. look like it will trend a little colder so more of the area will see freezen precip. right now, things could change, we're still 24 hours away, but right now, it looks like a couple of inches of snow. here is your advisory i mentioned. winter weather advisory goes into effect tomorrow morning at 3:00 a.m. through 6:00 saturday. right now, it is just across the northern tier of maryland pushing out into western maryland and west virginia. but the weather service is making some indications that it will likely get a little closer to washington. it might even include the district. they will reassess later today. we have a winter weather advisory off to the north and west where they're most confident that we'll get self inches of snow. across northern maryland, you might see 3 or 4 inches of snow early tomorrow morning. let's

for keeping us updated. let's bring in the rest of the options action crew and talk about the markets. mike not very good action today. closing at session lows and futures look to be rough on monday as well. >> yeah, it's interesting, when they filed out of the white house, this was post close, if you're looking at the mini futures, they dropped by about ten handles off that. a lot of disappointment among the futures markets at what isn't going on there. i think there's good reason for that, but it's hard to imagine what could have emerged from this that would have been so much to feel good about. because really with the amount of time they have remaining, whatever solution we're likely to get is only going to be patchwork at best and it's hard to imagine the equity markets will rally strongly off of some half hearted solution. >> it might not have rallied, but we night not see a ten-handle drop in the s&p minis. we should give you context, the volumes are very light, but if we had the catch pork, we could have seen stability in the markets. >> that's right. we wouldn't have seen it drop 15

to do what we don't exactly know. so joining us live from the white house is nbc's kristin welker. kristin, welcome. >> reporter: thanks, karen. good afternoon. >> so what are we hearing about this meeting? i know it's still going on. any news? >> reporter: well, we do know this, a source familiar with these talks says that president obama is not going to be offering anything new during this afternoon's meeting. he's essentially going to be saying what he said at the white house last friday when he called on congress to put forth a package that would extend bush era tax cuts for those making $250,000 or less, extend unemployment insurance benefits, as well as stave off some of those deep spending cuts that are set to go into effect. the president is going to make the argument that he believes this can pass through both houses, but, of course, there is a big question mark over that. i have been speaking with republican aides on the hill who say house republicans are really waiting to see what the senate does at this juncture before they weigh in on anything that the president might

's a narrative that's beginning to take hold that folks prefer to see -- in both parties, prefer to see us go off the so-called fiscal cliff. nate silver in "the new york times" and putting up a quote here, this is just an excerpt. most members of the house now come from hyper partisan districts with no threat of losing to the other party. vice president of the heritage foundation telling the national journal, quote, when everybody goes back home, i don't think they're feeling the heat from their constituents for failing to reach an agreement. if anything, hearing the opposite. this is vice president of the heritage foundation. is there an incentive for house republicans to compromise or senate republicans? is there an incentive for the gop? >> no political incentive for this and now seeing it. there's a lot of hype and seeing the end game here and if you're not angry, you are not paying attention. i spoke to a senator saying there could be a small deal. mr. shear is shorting to the similar thing and the bottom line is this was built on a threat for the debt ceiling 514 days ago and the idea was
